In January 2024, I felt a growing curiosity to expand my painting practice by teaching others how to paint beautiful florals. What began organically as a once-a-week session in my studio quickly became something more meaningful. I wanted to explore whether teaching could sit alongside running my printed textile studio, adding a new layer to my creative journey.

 

I quickly discovered the absolute joy of seeing students return week after week, their confidence growing and their work steadily improving. It became clear how therapeutic the sessions were, offering a calm, creative space for people to unwind after a busy day and to meet new people in their area. That community experience inspired me to take things beyond my studio and reach a wider audience. Since September 2024, I’ve been teaching floral painting workshops across London, welcoming painting enthusiasts from all backgrounds. Each month, we explore a different medium to create beautiful, expressive floral artworks.
